Final AIChE Meeting and Elections
Chemical Engineering Undergraduates,
Thank you all for helping to make this year so successful for AIChE. I really appreciate the level of participation we were able to generate this year, and hope that everyone was satisfied with our programming.
With that said, our final meeting will be next Wednesday night (April 28th) in Hancock 209 at 7:00. To celebrate the end of the semester, we will have ice cream for everyone. If you plan on attending, please go to: https://survey.vt.edu/survey/entry.jsp?id=1271700986787 to let us know you are coming.
We will also be having elections for next year’s leadership board at next week’s meeting. The attached document contains descriptions of open officer positions. If you are interested in running for a position, please pre-nominate yourself at: https://survey.vt.edu/survey/entry.jsp?id=1271701239357. You will also be able to nominate yourself at the meeting.
If you plan on running for an officer position, I strongly recommend you talk to the current officer in that position to get a feel for the responsibilities involved. Current officer information can be found at the VT AIChE website: http://www.aiche.org.vt.edu/?page_id=22
Also, please do not forget to sign up for the chemical engineering banquet if you have not done so already. Bailee has worked very hard to organize a great night to honor the senior class. All chemical engineers are invited to attend. If you would like to come, please sign up here: Survey
